DONATE FOR TODAY ... AND TOMORROW!

NOVA Parks offers many of Northern Virginia’s favorite destinations, and it’s thanks to wonderful donors like you that we’re able to continue to provide the great experiences we’ve come to be known for! Your tax deductible donation will help this park in many ways, both now, and in the future in the form of funds for NOVA Parks, which owns and operates more than 30 parks across Northern Virginia. Make a donation to today and support NOVA Parks tomorrow – 50% of your donation will go directly to the park of your choice, the other 50% going to future projects and land preservation throughout NOVA Parks.

You can also donate directly to NOVA Parks rather than choosing an individual park to support via the NOVA Parks Fund (see below). Above all, we appreciate our guests most of all. Thank you for your support, now and in the future!

THE 1863 FUND

The 1863 Fund is a new endowment set up through the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia to help provide long-term support for the five regional parks with a common history along Rt. 50 from Gilberts Corner to Upperville. These five parks including Gilberts Corner Regional Park, Mt. Zion Historic Park, Aldie Mill Historic Park, Battle of Middleburg/Mt. Defiance Historic Park, and Battle of Upperville/Goose Creek Bridge Historic Park all played a central role in the four days of battle in 1863 that are known as the battles of Aldie, Middleburg, and Upperville. The success of this endowment can help promote more conservation in the area and assure that these historic sites are well maintained and available to the public for generations to come.

Land Donations

In addition to cash donations, the Foundation welcomes the donation of land. Many dedicated people have donated land that can be used for new parklands or sold to raise funds for Parks programs. The land does not have to be in Virginia in order to be sold to benefit the Foundation. These donations are fully tax-deductible. Please contact us today to discuss a land donation to the Foundation.

Planned Giving with NOVA Parks

Enrich the lives of future generations and by entrusting your legacy with NOVA Parks through estate and financial planned giving. Your gift can be tailored to your personal wishes and may benefit a specific park or program or the entire park agency. A planned gift may have tax benefits for you and your heirs and may provide you with income or tax savings during your lifetime.
